The A-List Diet goes beyond all the popular diets out there. It goes beyond Atkins, South Beach, Paleo, and Keto.

Quite simply, The A-List Diet gives the most amazing results that I have seen in my entire 20-year career. And now, I’m going to share with you one of my top secrets to this diet:

PROTEIN BOOSTING.

Customized protein boosting turbocharges your weight loss, even as you become leaner and fitter, which is when most diets slow down. It also helps slow down the aging process. In fact, my A-list patients look great largely because they’re aging more slowly from within.

Protein boosting simply uses the powers of amino acids—the building blocks of all proteins—to help speed your metabolism, decrease inflammation, and get you off any plateau you may experience.

You have 22 major amino acids and hundreds of minor amino acids in your body. But three of them are the most crucial to the weight loss process. In The A-List Diet, now available in paperback, I will show you how to incorporate these three vital amino acids into your diet through foods, drinks, shakes, and supplements—and by rotating the proteins in your meals and menu plans.

The other amino acids are important for your health and well-being too, but these three hold the key to your weight-loss dreams.

The bottom line is…

Protein is crucial to your diet—along with a few other key nutrients—and the steps to success are all written in The A-List Diet.

A-Listers’ Corner

Amanda’s diet story

My patient Amanda is a Golden Globe Award winner. She needed to lose about 10 pounds before the 2015 Golden Globes ceremony, which took place shortly after the end-of-the-year holidays. Amanda had been working with me for quite some time, but with all the pressure on her that year, she took partying to a new level in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

She was in an exciting place, eating delicious new foods, relaxing for hours lying on the beach, and drinking exotic drinks… but adding 10 pounds right before red carpet season might not have been the optimal thing to do.

Luckily, I knew how she usually ate, so all I needed to do was simply protein boost her and adjust the proteins in her meals.

Within two weeks, she had lost the 10 pounds—in plenty of time for the show. She didn’t even have to adjust her exercise regimen. She looked fabulous when she picked up her award, and she felt even better.

One More Thing

Sadly, it’s far easier to be unhealthy than to be healthy in this country. The U.S., plain and simple, doesn’t put science-based health and nutrition at the forefront. It’s all about convenience and instant gratification.

We also no longer eat out of necessity, but out of abundance. We eat when we’re angry, sad, or bored. And our emotions almost always dictate how, what, and when we eat.

Breaking this psychological dependence on food is every bit as important as any other part of losing weight.

You will have extra work to overcome these obstacles. But you can do it — and it will pay off in dividends (and years added to your life).

Until next time,

Dr. Fred
